My first cookbook, One Bowl: Simple Healthy Recipes for One, was inspired by a close friend, who was struggling to cook for herself in tiny New York City kitchen as she worked and pursued the other things in life she loved. It’s a concise collection of recipes sized for one person, incorporating plenty of delicious produce throughout each section of the book. The book concludes with basic nutrition information and goal-setting worksheets. It is available as a paperback or in a Kindle version.
The second cookbook project, Meals from the Farm, I was involved in supports a non-profit farm and shelter for pregnant women or mothers of young children where I provided nutrition education. I was pleased to curate a collection of recipes from the residents and staff, adding stories of other urban farms. All proceeds support their programs. It is available as a paperback.
